Our Staff
Doug Ormseth - Founder and CEO
A Great Falls, Montana native, Doug spent the first ten years of his career in New York City working as a marketing representative for media software companies. He has additional experience at a Montana-based ad agency, in downtown development, and in internet project management. He directs sales, marketing and general management at Shortgrass Web Development.
Teresa Ormseth - Project Manager and Consultant
Teresa earned a Computer Information Systems/Accounting degree from Manhattan College, New York City in 1986. She also has a Masters Degree in Human Services. Teresa acts as a project manager/consultant, and specializes in websites with integrated databases.
Mike Lefebre - Senior Programmer and Database Specialist
Mike is a Great Falls native who received his BS degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology in Phoenix AZ in 1994. He has 10+ years programming experience in a multitude of languages, from Synergy DBL, Cobol, Visual Basic, HTML, ASP, PHP, MSSQL, MySQL and a host of others. Mike is responsible for all the behind the scenes programming and database work that goes on at Shortgrass Web Development. During his “free” time, you can find him at the baseball, basketball, or football fields coaching kids in the various sporting activities.
Matt Colyer - Web Developer and Search Engine Optimization Specialist
Born and raised west of Missoula, Montana, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Seattle, Washington's DeVry Institute of Technology in 2005. Realizing that entry-level job security would be difficult to achieve in Washington, he returned to Montana and joined Shortgrass Web Development. Matt is a trained programmer in HTML, PHP, ASP, Visual Basic, C++, C#, SQL, and MSSQL. Aside from developing websites and taking the occasional tech support call from clients, Matt is also the resident joker of Shortgrass Web.
Karen Ryan - Website Designer and Graphic Artist
Karen has been a graphic designer since 1990. She earned a Graphic Art degree at Dixie College and a Computer Science degree from the University of Great Falls. She has been a Montana resident since 1995. Karen currently designs websites and logo/identity graphics for clients.
